Preventing counterfeiting is very important to our economy because that can cause if those things happen a lot of things would change and how it work would change as well...our economy would go down

the government itself is already in debt with most of the other nations who loaned us money back in the ww1 and ii and we still have yet to pay then back, so when counterfeit comes in to play that puts us father in debt with those countries because fake money is being used and put into currency....

It is important b/c having fake money does not do anybody any good b/c if you get caught w/ the money you could get taken to jail and it makes our money worthless.

if there is too much money, the value of each individual dollar would go down most people dont understand this and continue to counterfeit money, its simple supply and demand this is the reasons why money from the US is worth more than most countries.
